Why and how to use cuttlefish bones

Cuttlefish is a good way to get a bit of extra calcium into your animal. Just offer it whole or break it down into smaller pieces, your tortoise now has the choice to add more calcium to its body if it wishes. Cuttlefish is an excellent way to file down your tortoises beak naturally.

I must point out that cuttlefish must not be the only source of calcium available to your tortoise.

Please also use limestone flour and Nutrobal sprinkled lightly on food every day.

The pieces average from 5-8 inches.
