It is an on/off thermostat like the habistat mat stat and temperature thermostat

This thermostat is for use with het mats, heat cables, and ceramic heaters it is not for use with light bulbls

Heaters of up to 1200w can be connected through a standard three pin plug

A second three pin plug is controlled through an integtated timer, this can be used to set operating hours

The temperature probe can be used in water so is suitable for humid envirinments

This thermostat has an alarm function which you can set to warn you if the heat drops to low or becomes to high

Additional features on the pro control 2 are

A real time clock which allows you to set different temperatures for day and night

The smallest time unit on the clock is minutes so it is possible to set on/off times

It is possible to switch from heating to cooling mode so it can be used in the same way as the habistat cool control
