Terms and Conditions

Shelled Warriors Shop is a UK based family business, and as such we comply with UK mail order and distance selling regulations. The Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, up to 7 days from receipt. All of our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.


Pricing and Payment

All listed prices are in UK Pounds Sterling, and payment can be made via Paypal, Bank Transfer or with most credit/debit cards through NoChex. Orders are only dispatched once payment has cleared. Please be sure to enter your card details carefully, since incorrect details will delay payment, and therefore your order. Customers details and payment information are kept safe and secure and not shared with any third party.


Stock

Many of the items listed on the site are held physically in stock, but others (mainly larger items) are held by our suppliers and are shipped directly to you. Our stock system is updated frequently but we are only human and mistakes can be made. If we are out of stock of an item and an order is placed which we cannot ship within a reasonable time, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options, usually either a full refund, alternative item or wait for new stock.


Returns

All items apart from consumables (bedding, seeds, supplements etc) come with a full warranty. Before making a return, please contact us to advise us of the situation. Our contact details are listed here. Depending upon what you have ordered, the return address WILL differ and as such we will need to ensure you return the correct item to the correct location, please contact me for returns address, we are not liable if you return it to the wrong address. Please ensure returned items are not used or otherwise in a state not fit for resale. If the item has retail packaging, please wrap the item first to ensure that the packaging is not damaged. If items are returned with damaging packaging a restocking fee may be applied. Returns postage costs are refundable if items are faulty or damaged in the post, once returned to the supplier in original packing. UVB bulbs are under guarantee for 6 months only!
Postage is not refundable if items are purchased in error, but the item will be refunded if returned to the supplier in original packaging.


Delivery

All orders are dispatched as soon as possible once payment has cleared. For larger items please be aware that a courier may be used, and as such a signature will be required. Where a signature is required, please be aware that you will be also be signing for the condition of the goods. If you are unable to check to ensure the goods are not damaged, please sign that the goods are ‘unchecked’. Failure to do so could invalidate a warrantee claim.
Please allow 1-10 days delivery on dry items.

All orders must be processed before 8am for same day deliverly (if you choose this option)

Privacy

Any information which is entered into the website will only be used by Shelled Warriors Shop and the payment system of your choice. This information is collected purely for ensuring we can fulfil your order. No information will ever be passed onto a third party.


Limitation of Liability

Shelled Warriors Shop will not be held liable for any loss, expenses, costs or claims as a result of use of this website or use of our products
